A Gran Fondo is both an Italian style sporting event and a cultural experience.
Gran Fondo means a “big ride” or “long distance” or “great endurance.”
It's not a race but can be a high speed ride for the best time or just a relaxing tour.

This bike ride will start & finish at the new CrossFit facility in Oak Ridge, on the north side of Greensboro.
All participants will be timed in their individual rides.
Especially for those who relish a challenge, the event will include a hearty 100 + mile route that circles Hanging Rock & Sauratown and takes you almost to Pilot Mountain!
Other shorter distances are provided for cyclists of all abilities.

All this fun is benefiting a really great cause: Earlier.org, Friends For Earlier Breast Cancer Test, a Greensboro-based charity that is making a difference in women's lives!
