For those that did not get a chance to read, a friend that works for
Yes Weekly, Devender Sellars, wrote an editorial last week about Ghost
Bikes, David, and cycling in Greensboro...article below.

thanks for the shout, jerm!

now back at you, cyclotics, if you can handle a bit of funny bad language. someone has read your minds and seen your relationships and conversations...i relate to the part about driving many miles to roll a few...if life is not funny right now, check these out...holiday choices..."most careers pay money."

i also laughed at the one where he talks about making the movies. "it seriously took five hours. so it's not like i was unproductive or anything. i just was not producing anything worthwhile."

hope i am not the only one who relates to some of this!

REGARDING BUGGYROLLIN...
yes, it looks like a thrilling place for some, but methinks not me with those switchbacks. this guy has me apoplectic! i had hoped nobody would associate him with me at all! :o) the suit looks awesome and on a closed course or one more appropriate, sure! but it's troubling when he catches the moto in front of him and there's a cut in the action...also those wide sweeps pre-turn and serpentine slowing moves...more here...

i fear he may earn his wings soon if he can't stay on his side of the road. i watched his other clips and he's prone to shouting at pedestrians who don't think to look down at the shin level before crossing the street. way to spread the sport, dude. i hope the idea "brake" will come to his mind soon. just what we need for our cause, more rude and dangerous rollers becoming famous! to paraphrase broadcast news...

"wouldn't it be great if safety were a turn on?"
