The Yakima King Cobra roof rack can carry road or mountain bikes. The ‘King’ designation means it has an integrated cable loop lock with a key. This rack can accommodate from 20” up to 29” wheel sizes. I only used the racks 2-3 times and they have been hanging on the garage wall ever since. I can say they are in ‘like new’ condition. There are two identical set-ups both in equally awesome condition.
These racks include hardware to mount to Yakima crossbars. The photo below includes the additional Yakima Mighty Mount Kit parts that allow the rack to attach to factory crossbars. I used them to hook up to a Toyota 4Runner.
Those who know me see me carrying my bike(s) inside my car or fork-mounted in a pick-up truck bed. The King Cobra racks have just never gotten any use. Time for them to go.
The comparable new model from Yakima is the High Roller which sells for $180-$200 without the $45 Mighty Mount Kit. I know my racks while ‘like new’ are not the newest model.
But just saw an eBay auction end for this same King Cobra model at $130 (rack only).

So how about $100 for each King Cobra rack including a Mighty Mount Kit and all the original mounting instructions. You can’t go wrong if you have a need for something like this.
Hoping to find someone who puts these to good use.
Thanks,
