NEWS (good!) about Thursdays POLAR BEAR RIDE in Greensboro!

Hi folks, all systems go for this gathering, plus we will have leaders for an even shorter ride! Carl and David from the popular Easy Riders series, will lead a 10 mile ride. Perfect for those who just want to have ridden their bikes on the first day of the year.  

And the 3 original distances are GO as well. 

Everyone will roll out at 10 AM.

The shorter Polar Bear Ride urban route is 13.7 miles long from Cycle De Oro. The main group that Carl will be leading (and I'll be helping on the sweep) will be moving 7 to 9 mph average speed and obeying all NC traffic laws, including group turns as if we are a huge long semi. Helmets are required, lights and appropriate clothing are highly recommended. No waiver is required. Faster and slower riders are welcome and encouraged to ride separately from the main group.
