Dear Simon,
The 2016 Ride of Silence is a week away! Join Bicycling In Greensboro and your community in honor of those who's lives were lost or were injured in bicycling related crashes over the last year.
Last year The 2015 Ride of Silence was one of the largest in North Carolina and we hope to have even more support this year to show our community how to responsibly share the road with bicyclist and motorist alike.
To try and keep this ride as safe as possible, the route will pass by the starting location at VF Corp twice to allow riders who may not be able to complete the entire distance (6.2 miles) to break off and end their ride at 1.3 miles. We will also be escorted by the Greensboro police during the ride. Click here for actual map of the route.
We have also opened up pre-registration to expedite the registration process at the ride. If you pre-register for the ride you will only have to sign your name on the waiver before the ride.
