We are looking for an experienced PHP architect/developer to develop/maintain web services in a high- transaction/low-latency service-oriented architecture. This job requires a high level of collaboration and knowledge sharing with other developers and testers.

Responsibilities:
* Software design and development for a high-volume Internet product line

Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background:
* 8+ years of experience in software design and development utilizing PHP
* Demonstrated abilities in creating web pages, services and APIs
* Proficiency with object-oriented development and MVC design patterns
* Recent experience developing: PHP 5.5, PHP Web Services, SOAP, JSON, REST, WSDL, XML and XML Schemas on *NIX platform.
* Working knowledge of Laravel, Eloquent ORM, RabbitMQ
* Working knowledge of Apache server setup and administration
* Experience with automated unit and integration testing
* Strong knowledge of Linux scripting using Perl or Python
* Knowledge of SQL database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL
* Experience with automation technologies such as a Puppet/Jenkins is a plus
* Experience with maintenance of C#.NET web services is a plus
* Experience with NoSQL database technologies (MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop) and search engine technologies (Lucene/Solr) is a plus

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
