Monday Bike Intervals

Happy Monday!

Our Monday bike interval group is growing!  We will be meeting again at square lake, 6:30pm.  These workouts should give you a good challenge no matter what distances you are racing this year.

Our workout looks like this:

  • Warm up from park as a group ~ 2mi
  • Interval 1 East-West: Sprint Tri Pace (~80-90% of Max)
  • West-East: Tempo
  • Interval 2 East-West: 30 sec. at max, 30 sec. rest repeats
  • West-East: Tempo
  • Interval 3 East-West: Best Time, last 1/4 mi at max
  • West-East: Tempo, Last 1/4 mi at max
  • Cool Down Back to Park
Our goal every week is to help you work on mechanics (generating power in your aerobars) and have your body understand the stresses of racing.

Sorry for the late notice...no bike intervals for tonight as I am now on kid duty.  Also, I will be out of town next Monday.  We'll try to regroup in three.
