We need to talk about the Cambridge siltation basin project and the effects of rain and mud on the work schedule. I am very worried we could get a big rain that would flood the site and not only make construction much moredifficult but result in more siltation in Alewif Brook that there is already.

We need to talk about the effect the McKinnon/Martignetti project will have on Arlington. Route 2 floods at this point. Also, the possibility of hazardous soil on the site from earlier businesses (garage and automobile repair shop) has not been mentioned to my knowledge. Further, what effect does the horrendous pile driving do to houses in Arlington and Belmont? What effect on drainage issues? Unfortunately, citizens have done all (or as much as they can) over the years, but several of us feel we are really laughed at by the officials (at all levels) who should be protecting us.
