Intel 82599ES 10Gb NIC disappears after running TRex

I am able to run TRex for few times after which the NIC disappears and I have to reboot the machine. Installed latest driver from intel which didn't resolve it.

Happens even with this minimal load:
./t-rex-64 -f cap2/imix_9k.yaml --software -c 1 -m 10 -p -d 10

Any idea what's causing this?

Hi Yossi,

This is expected. We are using DPDK which takes control of the NIC.

You can use our script to give the NIC back to Linux. 

$./dpdk_setup_ports -l
