Trex GUI on Windows and TreX Server on Linux - Can it work?

Folks,

Thanks for the great work to put out TRex.

We have recently started exploring it but run into an issue when we launch the GUI on an Ubuntu system. I also see that there is some discussion that GUI is not a priority on Linux.

So, I was wondering if someone can guide us how to setup a GUI on a windows machine (we can rdesktop to a Windows machine from Linux for the GUI) with the TRex server running on the Linux machine.

Does this make sense? Is it do-able...

Hi Kanwar,

Theoretically it is possible. Also, all the pictures in here https://github.com/cisco-system-traffic-generator/trex-stateless-gui show it running on Windows. 

However, the GUI team should be able to instruct you better.
