I am a long time Settlers of Catan player who has recently started playing Terraforming Mars. The reason I bring up Catan is because for years I could only play it on a physical board. There were online versions but they were really trash and buggy and it cost money to download.
I am the league organizer for the Online Terraforming Mars League (OTML). We are currently in the playoffs for Season 3 (145 players), however, registration has begun for Season 4. You can check out the current season here. We currently use the Steam application for play. Last season, we used no DLC (subject to change based on league survey results).
The OTML is an uncapped, free participation league. It is designed to be a friendly competition, not a cut-throat league, where anything goes. The overall goal of the league is to create an enjoyable experience for players at all skill levels.
The league features two leagues (Gold + Silver, with promotions/demotions) to help players compete against similarly skilled opponents. It consists of an 8-game regular season and playoffs (for those who qualify). Divisions (9 players) will be based on time zones to make scheduling games easier.
"The Retreat was fantastic. It was truly a great experience and triggered a lot of ideas. I would highly recommend the Retreat to any aspiring guitar player of any style.""- Steve, Ontario

Way back in 2010, N-Fusion Interactive released a light gun-style rail shooter on Wii called Martian Panic. Earlier this year, Martian Panic returned on Nintendo Switch alongside the Martian Panic Alien Blaster accessory. The game features a deliberately corny retro vibe, lighthearted humor, and 4-player local co-op. Unfortunately, poor controls and calibration (not to mention a lack of general polish) seriously threaten the fun.
Martian Panic is not an easy game to recommend. With a terrible calibration system and poor motion controls, players have to deal with far more hassle than they should. The humorous sci-fi atmosphere and basic rail shooter gameplay have their charms, though. Fans of light gun games might find some enjoyment here, but most players will find it painful.
Terraforming Mars is an engine building game from Asmodee Digital, with the physical game published by Stronghold Games. The game features a mixture of mechanics from tile placement to card drafting, engine building, and set collection, among others. Players each take control over a corporation attempting to help make Mars habitable over the course of hundreds of years. Players must earn their own points along the way while also pushing towards the overall goal of meeting habitability requirements. Once all three of these requirements are met, the game ends and the player with the most points wins. This typically takes about 40 minutes, but that will vary by player count.
Hello - I am new to Spotify - I bought Unlimited monthly access - It is great but for some weird reason, out of all the playlists I have created and enjoyed, NO Bruno Mars songs will play. I have no idea why. It doesn't matter if I just have one BM song in a playlist, have an entire BM album selected, or even stream BM radio - once the Spotify player comes across a Bruno Mars song there is absolutely no sound. I have read on other Community discussion boards that other Spotify users have experienced artist-specific glitches like this. I just wanted to post about it in hopes that someone on the technical end of Spotify could look into it. I LOVE Bruno Mars and would love to be able to enjoy his music on Spotify. And I also would love for my playlists and radio stations to stop getting interrupted with silence.

Ultimately, the "Port of Mars" team wants their game to become a platform for social dilemma research in which researchers can adapt the parameters to test different variables. They want to experiment with artificial intelligence playing the game to see what sorts of solutions they come up with. The team also plans to add new capabilities to the online game, including voice communications, expanding on the current option of chat communications.

Self-published authors often dream of snagging a big contract with a major publishing house. But after Andy Weir's self-published "The Martian" online, its next stop was not print. Instead, it got picked up by a small Canadian audiobook company. Of course, it was eventually made into a movie and nominated for multiple Oscars. We'll find out tomorrow night how many it wins. NPR's Lynn Neary has our story.
NEARY: Greg Lawrence, a co-founder of Podium, was on the lookout for the company's first fiction title. A fan of science-fiction, he came upon "The Martian" online. He loved the characters, the writing, the humor.
Madrazo is one of the people hiring the protagonist to do their jobs and tasks. Once the player reaches rank 18, Madrazo calls them, introducing himself and the Gang Attacks feature, telling the protagonist to destroy his rivals' hideouts.
Eventually, the players manage to liberate the documents from Strickler and give them to Miguel. With the evidence now back in their hands, he calls Martin to inform him and attempts to persuade his father into following up on some deals and projects of his, only to get promptly hung up on.
Madrazo seems to respect people who respect him back, as seen in GTA Online, where he will be friendly towards the player and call them his friend if the job he gave was completed successfully. Not doing a job for Madrazo in GTA Online for a period of time will result in angry phone calls from him.
The GTA Online Alien Suit is key to a longstanding underground war that's been raging between groups of players in the online world, and if you want to choose a side in this conflict then you'll need to pick up the required outfit. Initially this unofficial confrontation was just the subject of some small memes made in GTA Online, but the battle between Green and Purple alien factions quickly escalated into full-on warfare with little hope of a truce being struck.
Although this whole situation has been completely engineered by the players, Rockstar stepped in to recognise what's happening and offered up free GTA Online Alien Suits to all players for a week in May 2020. That was a great deal, as the Green and Purple Martian Bodysuits normally cost over GTA$300,000 each to purchase, though sadly it has now expired so you'll need to fork out for your own GTA Online Alien Suit if you want to get involved.
These missions vary in terms of Rank but are generally low enough that most GTA Online players can do them. There is a good amount of mission variety in them, so they're not as repetitive as some other Contact Missions like Ron's, which is a good thing.
The main reason why some players care about knowing every Martin Madrazo Contact Mission is because of an event week that boosts the pay received from completing the missions. The event week happens semi-frequently in GTA Online, so a list containing all the missions is a useful one to have for future reference.
Do note that any weekly bonuses will be displayed on the top right of these missions (such as 2x cash and RP). Knowing this could be helpful in the future, as players don't actually need to know the names of every job associated with a particular event week. Instead, they can just find any that give extra cash and RP.
Memories of Mars will take players on an epic adventure of survival and exploration as they fight to overcome the mysterious dangers of the Red Planet in infinite ways. We have created an immersive open world environment with seemingly endless possibilities in player progress and exploration all set against the strange and curious backdrop of the distant planet Mars.
Our partners at Limbic Entertainment continue to impress us with creative and bold ideas that strive to push the limits of the online multiplayer survival genre. Memories of Mars will serve as a strong launchpad for the new year and we look forward to sharing more development news as we gravitate toward early access debut on Steam in early 2018.
Tasked with surviving the barren wastelands of Mars, players must explore the unforgiving Martian terrain and build a habitable homestead while fighting off against a variety of dangers including strange enemies, harsh environmental elements and other human clone survivors.
