We need several new programmers...
- very strong UNIX shell programming is vital (UNIX background is nice)
- good C programming (data structures, pointers, etc.)
- have you seen SGML? (even better, do you like it?)
- web-type stuff is good (HTML, cgi)
- smart (-ass?), sense of humour
- willing to learn a lot
Everyone here is young and motivated. There's a lot of self-directed work that
people do, and a lot of individual creative stuff. You know, "just playing
around" to come up with interesting cool stuff that will plug in to the
product.
Perks include Nerf rockets and juggling lessons.
The department will be moving to much bigger and nicer quarters in Waterloo on
1-Oct-1998, so the best thing to do would be to start around then...
