NOTICE OF COMPETITION
The Ministry of Natural Resources recently announced the creation of over
100 internship opportunities for candidates who are:
* full-time enrollment in a recognized post secondary college or
university or graduation within the last five years
* proof of eligibility to work in Canada

These positions will provide valuable work experience and development
opportunities for recent graduates and will support several key ministry
initiatives including Ontario's Living Legacy, Species at Risk, Water
Resources and Inventory, Monitoring, Assessment and Reporting.

DUTIES:

Bring your enthusiasm and commitment to customer service to the Ontario
Ministry of Natural Resources, Human Resources Branch. Working as a member
of the Planning and Analysis Team, you will:

* Work with the ministry's human resource information management
system (Workforce Information Network - WIN) to retrieve human resource
data, access standard reports, and request or produce additional reports as
required.
* Analyze human resource data and information in graphic and report
format, in support of human resource planning activities, such as workforce
demographic reporting and staff strength monitoring.
* Participate on project teams to assist in identifying human resource
data requirements.
* Undertake additional research when required to support analysis of
human resource data


QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ability to analyze and interpret data.
* Research, organization, and problem solving skills.
* Good verbal, presentation and written communication skills to
effectively deal with human resource program specialists and prepare
graphics, charts, reports and presentation materials.
* Ability to work individually and in a team setting.
* Broad overview knowledge of human resource management functions.
* Working knowledge and experience with current office technology,
particularly, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; internet and intranet
skills.
* Proof of full-time enrollment in a recognized post secondary college
or university graduation within the last five years
* Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
