Just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware that CO230 is being
offerred in the summer. It will be from 2:30-5:30 on Mondays and
Wednesdays for 12 weeks beginning in May. I will be teaching the first
6 weeks of the course and then I go on sabbatical. I will conduct the
course as a 1 hour tutorial followed by a 2 hour lecture (I am doing
this way so students who work caould possibly make the 3:30 lecture
time). THe second 6 weeks will be taught by Prof. Domzy and it will be
up to him as how he divides the 3 hour slot.

This is a great oppurtunity to get a head start on your courses for next
year. CO230 is a course on Computer Organization - how a computer works.
Some level of algebra is recommended but not required (the algebra is
not that difficult - it is just nice to have seen some in the past
couple of years).

Hope to see you in the class.

Richard

P.S. If it makes any difference, this is a course that I teach
regularly and as such, course notes are available for it. Also, since I
will be on sabbatical next year, this course will be taught by an
instructor to be named later (i.e. an unknown)
