I just had a general question for any student or even better, professor, in
the computer science field. I just came to Trent this year and am taking
some second year courses, and I've found that all the assignments are
individual ones. While I have no problem with this (I actually prefer
working alone), I found that Waterloo rarely had individual assignments
(maybe 1 or 2 the whole year). The rest of the assignments were all to be
done in teams. Are there any courses at Trent that require teamwork, or
encourage that real-life style of programming?

Yes, you will find that many of the 3rd and 4th year courses have a team
component. I teach 304 and 400 which require teamwork and "encourage that
real-life style of programming." Working in teams is certainly part of the
reality of programming for a living (team assignments also give us less to mark
:-)

As does COSC 332, COSC 355, COSC 362, COST 350 (presentations), and probably
more.
