Hi all! In particular, those of you who have taken CR 283b
or who plan to take it next term. We need some help! Last
time around, Prof. R had this title on the "Additional
interesting sources" reading list:

Multimedia: The Complete Guide
DK Publishing, 1996.
In BL on CR 283b reserve: QA 76.575 .M85 1996

He liked it, but he thinks that it is a bit "long in the
tooth" to recommend this time around. Is anyone able to
suggest some newer titles that I might investigate?

Thanks for any leads! /Bonnie

Well nothing specific on my mind but 'Wired' books tend to be interesting
since
they don't approach things from a purely technical standpoint.
I rmeber last year Reality Check was a 280a book from Wired and it was
really good.
If there is any Wired books that relate to Multimedia and meet requirements
they would woth taking a look at :)

Magic

PS: Can't seem to find a booklisting on their site anywhere, but I'm sure
they had it somewhere
But since I last looked the layout changed.

yes, i agree. WIRED seems to be easy to understand, and up to date, and
interesting to read.

Thanks for the suggestions, Andre. Prof. R knows about the
Clicking In book, but if you could share some info on the
other two that would be great. /Bonnie
