Info about Visa

Hello Everybody

I was in the embassy this morning and he gave me an appointment for
August 18, 2011,(i have already booked for August 23 flight) and told
me to bring the following documents.

1- letter by a competent local authority as proof of Italian
university acceptance
2-university acceptance
3-letter confirming university campus lodging for applicant or
confirmation and copy of ID card of Italian host offering hospitality
and lodging
4- valid health insurance policy for student with Italian provider
5- valid open dated round trip air ticket
6- proof of financial stability

I've some questions regarding the documents, first am not clear with
requirement number one and is it must to book a round trip air ticket?
in addition is it must to have a health insurance and are they going
to send us (Trento) a confirmation letter for the lodging? i hope the
experience of our friends in Trento will help us!

Dear All;

I have also gone to the embassy this morning; and on my case the appointment is for Aug-25. I advice everybody to go their as earlier as possible to get appropriate appointment day. But I am so confused with the requirements as Alex do. I am too hungry for some suggestions from Trento friends. Though I know you may be a bit busy by this time, Please say something on this issue. At least the things you did at this step.

Dear guys
Here is my info to share with you regarding the document for Visa applications

1- letter by a competent local authority as proof of Italian
university acceptance

 According to the welcome office website, welcome office will send
the embassy invitation letter for   the issuing of the study visa for
Non-EU students. So I understand that the welcome office will send our
list for this case.
2-university acceptance
 We have got two letter one stating admission and one stating
scholarship amount and accommodations.

3-letter confirming university campus lodging for applicant or
confirmation and copy of ID card of Italian host offering hospitality
and lodging

For this one we have the letter , the scholarship letter

4- valid health insurance policy for student with Italian provider

  welcome office will give information about health insurance when
they send the list. according to
http://international.unitn.it/welcome-services.

5- valid open dated round trip air ticket

We have to have the print out of our ticket or booked

6- proof of financial stability

 our scholarship letter is enough.


And at last last time I personal ask Yordi for her visa experience of last year. She said we need only to have a return ticket and our scholarship letter for the visa.
This is what she faced last year and will be helpful for other.

Hello Guys

As Israel said the welcome office will send a paper that officially confirms to the embassy that they will be giving you the scholarship together

with the list of all of your names. They will also send them a letter saying that they will be helping you to have the health insurance after you

come to Trento. So this will finish most of the things and about the ticket as a policy the embassy wants a two way ticket but technically  you do not 

need to buy the ticket. You will just be giving them a booking paper for the two ways I think the ticket office personnels know about this thing I recommend you to talk to them about it. You should be giving them this two way booking paper as your ticket not the official one way ticket 

you will use to come here. As I remember, other than this there is no other big document you need to process the visa. Just in case try to make sure that the welcome office will send this documents by sending them email or something.

Dear Fish

For the ticket, I already buy a single trip from Gulf Air for Sep 6,
For the round trip ticket I talk to the ticket officer where I bought mine as the officer said she will give me a print out eTicket as if i have book round trip.
it is easy as she said.

you should also talk to ur ticket officer.
