I've run an analysis for Australia. I've downloaded the results into my machine (11 files, 3.5GB).
The problem is that every time I want to display any of the rasters or zoom in or out, QGIS takes too long (like 3-4 minutes or more) and it makes impractical to do anything with these files.
Is this behaviour normal? Should I run a smaller region?
My impression is that these are very large rasters with many bands and it simply takes too long for QGIS to read them.

Did it for ACT (small region within Australia) and it works fine

When using the default settings, Trends.Earth provides a multi band TIF file with 43 different variables. That means that if the area is very large, it will be a big file, and depending on the computing power you have, layers will take some time to load. One option to make the display faster is to compute pyramids. Explained in the project website: http://trends.earth/docs/en/training/tutorial_task_download.html#optional-computing-pyramids
