Hello Trends.Earth team and users,

I’m using the Trends.Earth plugin in QGIS to run the “Indicator for SDG 15.3.1” algorithm. My baseline is set to 2001–2015, and I’m using 2019–2022 as the progress/reporting period for comparison.

In the advanced settings for the progress period, I’ve specified custom periods for the productivity metrics, which I generated using the “Productivity” algorithm with advanced configuration:

  • Trend: 2008–2022
  • Performance: 2019–2022
  • State: 2008–2019 vs 2020–2022

However, when I try to execute the “Indicator for SDG 15.3.1” algorithm with these settings, I receive a “Task Failed” message. While a dataset file is generated on my computer, it appears to contain missing data, is not displayed in Trends.Earth, and cannot be accessed in QGIS.

Any guidance on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Hi Christina,

Have you managed to finish your analysis correctly? I was checking the list of jobs submitted over the last several days and there's minimal number of them that failed.
If it is still failing, could you please share what versions of QGIS and Trends.earth are you currently using?

Best.
Gabriel

Hi Gabriel,

Thanks for checking in. I tried running the analysis again today and the task was successfully completed.

For reference, I’m currently using QGIS version 3.36.2.

Best,
Christina
