Sportsbetting is as old as sports itself, evolving through the ages and eventually becoming regulated during the 19th and 20th centuries, shaping the sports betting we know today. The greatest leap happened in the 00s, transitioning from traditional sportsbooks to online betting. Much of the credit goes to Denise Coates, who 2001 transformed the sports betting landscape by launching Bet365, which has become one of the leading betting platforms in the industry.

In 2005, Denise sold the on-site betting points to Coral for around 40m, allowing her to pay out the bank loan for the initial funding of the online platform. In 2016, Bet365 moved to a state-of-the-art headquarters in Stoke-on-Trent and opened an additional office in Manchester, marking a significant milestone for the company.

A small company with 12 employees does not become a global brand overnight, with 90 million customers and over 7,000 employees globally. Here is a timeline of the most prominent milestones for Bet365:

Bet365 offers a wide range of sports markets, including all major sports, and seldom featured ones such as badminton, beach volleyball, netball, surfing, swimming, and more. They also offer eSports, virtual sports, lottery, and special events like elections in some countries such as the UK and USA.

In China, where gambling laws are strict, Bet365 has been connected to court cases involving four of its customers and two promoters of its website being imprisoned. Bet365 has refused to comment on the matter, but it is reported that the company keeps changing the domain and offers its services to Chinese players, thus staying ahead of the authorities.

Josh Inglis' Super Bowl batch of 2023-2024 NFL milestones is going all in on the 49ers. Our NFL betting picks are feeling particularly strong about George Kittle having a highlight-reel evening in Las Vegas.

There are plenty of ways to reach this small total that can pad the old account. Mitchell could mix in for carries here and there as CMC does come out because of his high usage. Over his first nine games of the year, he hit the five-carry mark in four games before hitting the shelf.

Another angle here is with Mitchell getting the possible close-out carries. If he does this and moves the pile vs. a poor Kansas City Chiefs rush defense, there could be five carries just in the fourth quarter alone.

Mitchell had three close-out carries vs. Detroit (thanks to the CMC neck injury). He got the late carries in Week 17 vs. Washington and the Niners are happy to give the ball to someone other than CMC late.

First off, Deebo is healthy and will be the gadget player that he has been for multiple seasons with this team. He has battled injuries and the two-week run here is giving him his best bill of health in a while. He has time to get over the recent shoulder injury he picked up in the Divisional Round.

Samuel finished the Conference Championship Round with the lowest % of team air yards of all pass catchers at 16.3% despite leading his team in receiving yards. He also led all pass catchers two weeks ago in YAC per reception at 7.8 yards per grab. It worked for the Niners then and it will work for them against a defense that is tough to pass downfield against.

Tonight is the final regulation season slate of the year in the NHL. We have six games to pick from and outside of motivational angles and milestones, only a couple of these contests really matter for playoff seeding. The Kings and Golden Knights can flip-flop in the standings if the Kings manage to finish tied or ahead of Vegas (currently Vegas has a one-point lead and they both play their final game tonight).

The Oilers sat some key players in their contest against Arizona yesterday and I expect that trend likely picks up more steam tonight as well. There has already been chatter about McDavid sitting for this final game (he was banged up towards the end of the season) and Edmonton being such a top-heavy team it would be foolish for them to risk injury to any of their stars.

Line shopping here is also key. Minnesota is as low as -130 at some books already but they are still -110 at bet365. Given the lack of meaning this game has, and the fact the Wild have been so good against this level of opponent of late, that price looks more than fair to back the home team whose fans should at least provide them with some motivation today.
