This is a reminder of the wine dinner to be held at the East Shore Café, 1638 East Shore Drive,  Ithaca,, this coming Monday, June 21.  It will feature a five-course dinner with selected Treleaven wines accompanying each course.  See below for the complete menu

First Course

2008 Gewürztraminer

Cheese plate with spiced nuts, pear-raisin compote and buckwheat crackers

Second Course

2008 Dry Riesling

Shrimp summer rolls with cilantro, mint, lemon grass, ginger,
cucumber and carrot in vermicelli with a hoisin dipping sauce

Third Course

2007 Reserve Chardonnay

Hickory BBQ pulled pork topped with creamy coleslaw
 served over corn bread

Fourth Course

2007 Meritage

Grilled filet mignon with caramelized onion bordelaise
and smoked Gouda mashed potatoes

Fifth Course

2007 Late Harvest Vignoles

Crepes filled with strawberries, mangos, and mascarpone cheese
 topped with fresh whipped cream
