Spring has
sprung and there is LOTS going
on at King Ferry Winery.
It's Riesling Month throughout New York State, and we are offering a
special vertical tasting of our Dry Rieslings from '06, '07, and '08 in
the tasting room this weekend. This is the last time we will be
offering those vintages for sale. Other limited wines include the '06
EIS lat e harvest Riesling (5 cases left) and the '08 Dry Rose (12
cases left).
We are also debuting a new product in the tasting room this weekend from an artisanal cheese maker from our part of the Finger Lakes - Keeley's Cheese Company's Irish Farmstead Cheeses. Samples will be available this weekend.
"I Love Chocolate" Day is Saturday, May 22 at the winery. Free live music to be enjoyed, lunch available (for a fee), and for a mere $7, a selection of luscious chocolate desserts paired with our award-winning wines.
Finally, the long-anticipated release of our new wine - Gilded Lily - will take place this Sunday. A wonderful blend of Vidal, Vignoles, Riesling and Chardonnay, this easy-to-drink white wine is on the sweeter side and is packaged in a gorgeous cobalt blue bottle with the owner's favorite flower on the label. We invite you to swing by and try a taste!
