convert to PDF

I guess I'm really technically a idiot and have tried to convert my screenplay to a pdf copy but...it ain't working. Would love a little advice here. The only thing I see is 'print pdf' and when I do that i get an error message and then click and my adobe comes up and it asks me to join for some money to print out a pdf...i did read in the tribly info that a screenplay can be (I assume) saved in a pdf but I'm not seeing that option when i try to 'save as' ...any thoughts?

I have a similar problem. Say the script is titled "puppet": when I export to pdf, its new name is "puppet. pdf.trelby." I think the final "trelby" is preventing my PC from opening.
