Can't open trelby file.

I saved a trelby file and have been using it for quite sometime; now it says, "error loading file: file is not a trelby screenplay"

Your disk may be corrupted? Trelby format is plain text, so you should be able to open the file in any program (notepad/wordpad), and view the contents, and recover the data there.

I have the exact same problem with my file as well. I've tried all i know but still can't access the file. Let me know if you guys have any solutions..

I had this same issue... I removed a pipe (|) at the line referenced. It works now.  Who knows... must be the "deep state" ;)

Download notepad++ and open the file in that would be where to start on a windows machine.
