Can't run Trelby

Hey writers!!

So I installed Trelby since my team director and producer (small crew by the way :p) said it was an actually good software for me to write our screenplays! I looked it up and liked it so decided to download...

Although... It doesn't run!! :( I ran it on Windows 8 but I was told it was no problem... Tried on a Windows 7 and the same error showed!! :(

The error says "The logfile 'C:\Program Files\Trelby\trelby.exe.log' could not be opened: [Errno 13] Permission denied: 'C:\\Program Files\\Trelby\\trelby.exe.log' "

Any help please?

This usually happens when you install as an admin user, and then open it as a normal user.

Can you install and use it as the same user (both admin).

Ok so new problema here... Tried to run it as admin and it showed a new error...

"See the logfile 'C:\Program Files\Trelby\trelby.exe.log' for detail"

Known issue, you have non-ascii characters in your username. This is already fixed, but we haven't released the new version yet.

Is there a release date schedule or a workaround? I also have this issue.

Also, just wanted to tell that I like the simplicity of this software. It's great to not get distracted while writing. Thank you :)

Just add a new user, give it admin rights and use the program from there. Don´t forget to avoid using special characters.

Hey people. I come from the future and I make everything that you suggest in the post. I'm so sad because that Trelby hasn't more support and this problem cannot be resolved.

PD: Yes I did the new user with admin rigths an its called "e" and Trelby don't run. GG. Now I need to find another script writter software.
