The Twelve Trek Days of Christmas 2013 - The Swansong?

Friends -
The Twelve Trek Days of Christmas has given me far more than I have put into it - it has forced m into production that I would never otherwise have even considered doing for one thing! For another it has brought me in contact with a large section of creative people who are, by-and-large, pretty damn nice to know!

However all things have their season and this year will almost certainly be my last.

I turn sixty next year and I feel that it is time for me to work the plot-bunnies out of my own system! My children are now out in the world creating their own legends, I have a wife who deserves an attentive husband now that there are only two of us and, frankly, I need to put my money where my mouth is to prove that fan production can be a viable introduction to the creative arts!

I am in the process of discharging my existing commitments to TrekUnited Publishing and working with others to see if we can ensure a continuation of the quality fan fiction publishing we have started. This year I might be able to post twelve blogs links to free fan productions and there should be some new releases - certainly I shall be trying my best to get the four out that I have committed to publishing for TU Publishing. Beyond that there could be a few surprises. I'll not say anything until I have these ideas at least at the planning stage, at the moment they are only a flash of inspiration!  In the past I've talked the talk but not walked the walk, I don't want to do that again!

If anything happens it will be the traditional twelve days of Christmas between Christmas and Twelfth Night. I'll not say anything publicly yet, rather than a highly public 2013 crash-and-burn it would be better to fade into memory as a reasonably successful 2012. However I've pulled a rabbit out of a hat before now, I might do it again!

And I've actually undertaken an original sci fi novel, as well as a separate novella.... So I'll just tip my hat, wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous and happy new year :)

Thanks Kapact! Right back at ya! A major part of my ideas for next year revolve around Indie projects although my fan production work will be focused more on trying to kickstart something locally in Australia and Sydney in particular.

OK, option one is an achievable mixture of new and existing books from TrekUnited Publishing...

I'm about halfway with this - I have Timespot completed and FSA 2 set up with a pdf, I just need to create a web page for it and that will be ready.

Q-Q and P-P is very close, there are only details to be updated, unfortunately those details can be very time consuming!

Night Whispers 3 has everything done except the cover and that will be a major problem since we need to get the right graphics together to do a photo manipulation. I've got a few possibilities for Spock's robe but Vulcan women's robes are not easy to come by!
