Had a quick look and the omnibus edition is doing even better! - they all seem to have regular hits, they haven't died off - I'd say it is because of the media, because they are graphic novels

I don't mind as long as people like what they're seeing. I just wish they would post a comment somewhere- either at Issuu or at the TU threads. It's a little frustrating to be posting stuff for the "Silent Majority".

Very true. Alt.Star Trek.Creative have a good idea: they have (or had, haven't seen one in a while) an annual competition where fiction was given an award for the number of comments that it received. This made writers comment on each other's works on a reciprocal basis

It's not just the TU and Issuu postings. Everywhere Nova Trek is posted- either actual downloads or links- people are downloading it, but damn few are saying anything.

You get feedback from your fellow graphic artists on the Tamarlane forum though? That would be the most valuable.

True. But I also like to know how a story goes over with the general reader, too.I've got 3 people that are "beta-readers" for me that read the pages after another friend proof reads them- just to give me a feel for what regular folks think.
I think I need to hear other opinions- You work with a project for as long as I have with this, it's easy to lose perspective without those outside comments to pull you back.

Same here. We have review hunts on Ad Astra - but only a few people participate (and they are giving out Amazon gift certs - this is not for nothin'). But at least it's something

Sincerely,

Janet
