Ricky was in his office looking over some specs with everything that's going on with Carrie Eight StarFleet still had obligations to the colonies in the Federation. Including the ones along the demilitarized zone and amazingly enough the Cardassian administrators actually called StarFleet for help.

Their destination was Veloz Prime after the attack from the Maquis who than settled the colony several months later. After the first Dominon war was over the colony stayed in the hands of the Federation but the colony never really achieved anything especially after retaliation that the Dominion did in the early stages of the war.

The sewage system that the colonists came up with was ingenious but had several flaws and he was surprised at how long it had lasted. It wouldn't all need to be replaced just certain parts of the system and the primary pumps would need to updated. The problem was manufacturing the parts on a Nova class (changed the class of ship from Saber to Nova.) ship wasn't exactly designed even this specially designed variant to replicate this many parts. "Computer what's the status of manufacturing on Veloz Prime?"

Manufacturing is minimum. The flat monotone voice said.

"Any industrial replicators?" Ricky asked rubbing his face knowing that he needed to start replicating some of the parts now to have them ready when they arrived.

They have one. The monotone voice said.

Finally some good news but the problem was he didn't know if it was working and if it could even produce the parts he would need or if they even had the resources for the parts. Standing up he walked out into main engineering, "Captain." One of the the officers said looking up from the pool table.

"Ensign." Ricky said walking over to the pool table and started compartmentalizing the table so he could use part of it. "Computer pull up the specs for the sewage system of Veloz Prime." The computer beeped and the specs popped up on the 3D portion of the pool table. "Ugh........it was a lot worse than he was expecting." Ricky muttered to himself.

"Anything I can help you with?" The Ensign asked looking over the specs.

"Actually there is. We need to start replicating parts but as you can see we're not on the best ship to hold large parts. So what I need from you is figure out how we can start replicating the parts while he head over and make sure we don't over replicate." Ricky said looking at the Ensign.

"I can do that I'll get with the quartermaster as of right now I know majority of our cargo bays are empty at the moment." Anderson said pulling up the cargo bay manifests. "If there's nothing else I'll go meet with Warrant Officer Shaw and get started on getting some of this done before arriving at Veloz Prime."

"Nope I think you've got everything you'll need and thanks Ensign." Ricky said giving him a nod of his head. And with that the Ensign left engineering and Ricky went back to planning on how to actually start making the repairs without actually completely shutting the sanitation system down.
