Hi everyone,
Is there a simple way to download all the updated files in the package
for each new build from the repository website? I've been browsing
through R manuals and SVN types but currently I'm still downloading
all the files individually from all their individual pages, it just
seems that there's a more efficient way of doing this
Thanks!!

You might want to look at http://svnbook.red-bean.com/ as a guide to subversion. Chapter 2 is the most relevant. Version control is like tracking history of edits in google docs or MS Word, with the added feature that people can work on things independently and then merge them together. So, for example, this summer you'll be working on a branch of treevo: a copy that speciates from the main copy, so you can work on it and not worry about breaking the main code. Then you hybridize the two versions at the end of the project.
Best,
