I'm really liking TreeSheets as editor for BASIC programming

Yup, I've tried that too, with other languages, particularly ones with Python style syntax works well.
And if you export as text, you get the indents inserted so it can be processed directly by the language.
Also nice that you can make parts of the code larger/smaller/stylized to make it easier to navigate.
Or put parts of the code in columns.

Yeah, I got really excited when I copied that sample of indented code from a forum and just pasted that in TreeSheets.

I've been a career Gupta Team Developer (aka SQLWindows) since '95.  I first saw SQLWindows on a co-op education work term back in '92, and I immediately felt at home because of how it does code folding.  (To this day, I haven't found any editor/IDE that matches it.)

Now, I'm finding TreeSheets knocks the socks off what was my favourite.

To me, TreeSheets is by leaps and bounds the most interesting and brilliant software ever.
