fill-down feature would be handy

I would like the handy speedy feature in spreadsheets of using
fill-down, fill-up, fill-right, fill-left, increment-down,
increment-up, increment-right, increment-left. Increment is also handy
when it can handle text preceding numbers, ie a1, a2...

I added this suggestion to

I agree that filling is potentially useful, though I would say if you have lots of repeating items, you are not using treesheets to its fullest (you can almost always structure documents such that a piece of information needs to be present once). Incrementing (especially it has to work like you describe) is rather special purpose, though.

Oh I've got lot's of repeating items, most tree's I make are an
orchestra of repetition. As Einstein said, "Do not worry about your
problems with Fill-down, I assure you mine are far greater. No I kid,
it is not a big issue for me, just that it would come in handy, and
would help make other spreadsheets programs obsolete one day.
