treesheets needs to be a paid app... I pay monthly for other apps that are less functional than this one for example

You can donate: http://strlen.com/treesheets/docs/donations.html

To be viable as a paid app, it would need a lot more users (since only a fraction will want to pay), and a more mainstream value proposition. I don't think it quite has that.

I'm sure many of us could share some use cases with you. I think the best way to sell this product would be to offer the script as a utility to larger existing companies that already provide mind maps, outlines, lists, taskers, planners, PM apps and similar things. This "view" or "mode" would be awesome in some products we already use.
It is definitely

- Unique, I haven't seen a similar product. Either you are the first one to consider this kind of tool useful and actually create it - or many people have thought of this and never figured out how to make it work.

- Flexible, it gets out of your way and let's you work how you want to

- Efficient, much faster and simpler than mindmapping and displays more data on a single page than regular outlines

It would be sweet if this lived inside Zenkit or Dynalist or even a DBMS

Not familiar with these, but integration in these would likely be as much as making TreeSheets itself. TreeSheets is C++ and wxWidgets for native OSes, so to integrate that with a webapp like ZenKit would entail almost a complete rewrite.
That, and to actually make money out of very narrow verticals you need a lot of domain specific sales expertise.. I have none of that.

TreeSheets is super general (can be applied to any kind of field) on purpose.

Totally understand, it would be a huge headache. As far as value proposition goes I see a products being released weekly that are  copies of already existing apps, but theres still only one treesheets.

this solves part of the problem. https://webassembly.org/docs/c-and-c++/

Thanks.. I actually work on WebAssembly (as my day job), so I am quite familiar :)

Compiling the C++ code to Wasm doesn't really do much though. You'd need a port of wxWidgets to Wasm too, and since Wasm doesn't have built-in graphics or UI, this would mean a port of wxWidgets to work with WebGL or the DOM etc. That doesn't exist and would be a ton of work. Then even if you had that, you'd have a Desktop-y looking UI inside a web page. And you wouldn't have file access, so now all file handling needs to go thru a cloud service of some sort. etc etc.
