Dennis,

Sorry again for postponing the brewday.  I mentioned the 23rd, but am now realizing that the following weekend might be better.

Will the 30th work for your group?

Dennis,

Unfortunately, we have to reschedule the Brew Day for UNC to March 23rd (or another Saturday after that that works for everyone.)

We just got word that our glycol system is down and wont be fixed until later.  Coupled with the impending snow storm, it seems like someone up there is telling us that this Saturday is NOT a good day to brew on that system.

We apologize for the inconvenience.  However, we will brew and make it up to everyone that attends.

Please let me know if March 23rd works for everyone.  We will do everything in our power to make sure the glycol is working by then.

Dennis,

Sorry for the duplicate email.  I forgot to include an introduction to Sean Johnson (Asst Brewer) in the first email.

Are we still on for this Saturday to brew beer on the 7bbl system at UNC?  If so, please let me know how many people are coming.

We plan to start at 9am. Please have everyone arrive at Parson’s Hall by the soccer fields (Jackson Field).  We will meet at the loading docks that face 20th St.  The building will be locked, so we’ll be there until about 9:10am when we’ll need to go inside.

Please have everyone bring one or two carboys and airlocks.  We will be making a session IPA that everyone can take with them (and vary the yeast, dry hopping, etc...)

BAD NEWS:  Its supposed to snow this weekend.  If you are concerned about the weather, we can move it to another weekend.  Also, if it looks bad on Saturday am or looks like it will become bad later in the day, we’ll cancel the event so people don’t have to drive during the snowstorm.  (If we cancel the event, we will do so by 8:15am by sending you an email.)
