Sad leaves :(

Hi all! I was working on some twigs today on my lunch break at work
(break? what's that), and I came across several leaves that I
couldn't use. It makes me so sad! So I just wanted to remind
everyone to do the 'moop test' on your yarn before making and sending
me leaves. Pull at a strand of yarn or at a completed leaf several
times, and really yank on it.. if any chunks of fuzz come off, I can't
use it.

The yarn uses looked like it might have been a wool blend, which I
thought would be okay, but now that I've seen it, I see that it sheds
quite a bit. There were also some acrylic yarn leaves that looked
like they were made of thicker, looser yarn, more like craft yarn, and
those shed a bit, too.

But, honestly, so far, everyone's been really awesome at using only
tightly wound, worsted acrylic or cotton yarn. There have only been
about 10 out of about 1400 leaves that I can't use so far. Not bad!

I have less and less time to make leaves myself, as the real
construction of the tree begins. But I still need at least 1200
more!! Yikes!
