I managed to finally sit down and make a couple, but I can't find an
address anywhere. What do I do with them now?

Also, I like the veined leaf pattern by Cyntergomes, but can't for the
life of me figure out how to cast on 9 more stitches after casting on
the 10 original ones. Can someone explain this to me? And what does
m stand for in the pattern?

Thanks!

Hey there! It is a great pattern.
So you cast on 10, then knit the 10 and cast on 9 more (so after you knit 10 after the cast on of 10, you are back at the start of the yarn again).
mmm - the m is make 1. you do this by knitting the first stitch (or the 2nd to last stitch) and then - in between the two stitches, there is a single yarn that is the obvious one to pick up, and then knit it. see:
for pictures and a better explanation!
They also have the definition for sso (I had to look that one up!!)
The address

A Tree Undone Leaf Drive
3421A 16th St
San Francisco, Ca 94114

Have fun!!!

get frustrated and crochet a bunch more to boost my ego again. the
knitted leaves i get from you guys always amaze me.. so perfect and
tidy! my knitted leaves are hilariously sloppy.

and, yes, that's the address.

thanks gals!

Ok, hmmm. Thanks for the replies.

With the cast on 9 more on the veiny leaf, the thing I couldn't figure
out was how to cast on when it would be attached to the first 10
stitches I casted on... doesn't seem to work. Am I supposed to be
casting on to the same needle with the 10 on it? What would you do
about the yarn in between... can't pull it tight... I don't think
knittinghelp.com covers this. It's where I usually go to figure weird
stitches out.

Totally confused,
Margot

Hmmm - how to explain!

Cast on 10, then knit 10. (now you are back at the place you started)
Cast on 9 more, so you have the dangly yarn in the center of that row.
argh - if only I lived in California! I'll make the beginning today and take pictures - how about that?

OK - I have them online! I have taken pictures through the whole cast on!

If that doesn't work for some reason, let me know!
I also have the pics in a word file - but it is huge - if you want it, I will send it!!
