Last update before I leaf!! (Leaf, get it?)

playa. I leave on Monday morning, and will be checking email before
then, but I wanted to get this out to you all in case you needed to
get in touch with me before I go.

Group Photo!
First off, Kevin Shea, one of the tree's collaborators, has graciously
offered to do a group photo of all of us on the playa. Nice! We've
decided to do it Tuesday morning, between 9:30am and 10:00 am. I know
many of you may not be there by then, but if you are, stop by!
Where's Waldo, er, the tree, I mean?
I haven't received word of the exact location of the tree. We'll find
that out on the playa. But, as you all probably know, it is one of
the 'mangrove' trees, so it will be one of the trees surrounding the
man. Last time I spoke with my contact at the Artery, she thought it
might be placed on the west side, near the 9:00 avenue. Nothing's set
in stone, though, so just walk around the man until you find it.
You are awesome, let's do this again!
I really hope you all come visit me and say 'hi' out there! This
project has been really amazing, and I'm already percolating more
collaborative, mail in craft project ideas. I think we're on to
something here. Together we can create amazing feats of craft-driven
art that we could never achieve alone. I hope some of you will be
interested in working together again, after the playa!
Where to find me:
As you may or may not know, I now work at the Black Rock Arts
Foundation, the non-profit off-shoot of the Burning Man LLC. We work
with the artists of Burning Man and other like-minded artists to place
temporary, interactive artworks in off-playa communities all over the
world. It's the perfect job for me and I'm having a great time!
So, I'll be working on the playa. On Monday, Thursday and Sunday,
from 10-6pm, I'll be at the Black Rock Arts Foundation camp right at
the entrance to Center Camp, at Esplanade and Evolution, just to the
right as you enter the keyhole. I'll probably be there more than
that, but those are the times you can definitely catch me. I'll also
be with my tree a lot! Hope you find me!

One last request before I say goodbye: As you can imagine,
documenting this projects is very important. It's going to be
destroyed by the end of the week. No more tree! I'll be taking as
many pics as I can, but I'm hoping you can take a few, too, and stop
by throughout the week, to get it at different stages. I've created a
Flickr group that we can all add our pictures to when we come back.

Once again, I must thank you all for contributing. The tree looks
really, really great and I am very pleased with how it turned out.
This has been just the most satisfying project for me. Thank you so
