A match between two teams is called a "round." A round consists of each player playing one Duel against everyone on the opposing team.
Each round consists of three sets of three simultaneous Duels.

The 5th KAC follows the changes from the previous tournament and added a few more qualification methods including beatmania IIDX INFINITAS and the inclusion of the Female category in pop'n music. It is the only competition with Tokaigi 2016 to held the finals for some divisions.
Like the two previous installments of KAC, the competition finals were held at JAEPO and with new changes that would come in future tournaments. This competition marked the first and only time beatmania IIDX had a Double Play event and a new format which would later become official as ARENA MODE, whereas jubeat introduced the Team format where four players formed a team to play songs in unison. The DanceDanceRevolution also accepted players from North America (Canada, Mexico, and United States) with its own qualifying division for the first time as well. BeatStream was the only active BEMANI title at the time not to participate in this event.
In Southeast Asia, the BEMANI esports Championship special tournament was held before the qualifiers, for DanceDanceRevolution, DANCERUSH STARDOM, DrumMania, jubeat and SOUND VOLTEX. The winners of each division advanced to the finals.

Konami has officially announced a new competitive tournament series for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel dubbed the "Challenger Cup," set to begin next month. The newest online simulator for Konami's massively popular trading card game debuted to major success with its surprise launch earlier this year. The new Yu-Gi-Oh! game quickly broke records on Steam and would see millions of downloads across multiple platforms. Now, with Konami previously stating they intend for Master Duel to serve as a competitive platform, the developer has revealed the game's first official tournament series. The newest announcement would not be the first time Konami has made steps towards promoting Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel as a competitive platform for the card game created by Kazuki Takahashi. Master Duel was originally marketed as a top-level platform for the game that will feature alongside games like Duel Links and the physical trading card game at major events. Konami has also taken steps towards promoting high-level competition in-game with its Duelist Cup event earlier this year. Now, Master Duel players in Europe will soon get their chance to show their skills at a Konami event.RELATED: Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel Announces New Banlist for DecemberKonami officially revealed the Challenger Cup on Sunday following the conclusion of its Master Duel Challenge Cup tournament featuring Yu-Gi-Oh! content creators. The Challenger Cup is set to begin on December 17th and run through mid-February with 85 "free-to-enter online tournaments" planned. The tournament series currently believed to be exclusive to Europe with the game's EU branch putting on the event. Konami did not reveal any details about how the Master Duel tournament series will be structured or whether the Challenger Cup will be extended to other regions.
A post shared by prominent Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel-focused Twitter account "Master Duel Guide" also shares some information about what kinds of prizes players will be able to win. Prizes will reportedly range from Master Duel memorabilia like hoodies and card sleeves to higher-end rewards like Nintendo Switch OLED and PS5 consoles. The tournament will also feature plushies based on Yu-Gi-Oh's "Rescue Rabbit" as a prize, with the plushies being a popular giveaway item from Konami during events and conventions.
The first official tournament series for Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel comes as the game has added plenty of new content over the first ten months following its launch. Master Duel has introduced several new ways for players to experience the game between the Casual Match queue earlier this year and the recently-added Team Battle game mode. Konami has also regularly added new cards into the game, as well as more solo modes based on the game's many different archetypes. The Master Duel Challenger Cup will be an opportunity for Europe's best Master Duel players to show their skills.
The number of rounds played in a Konami Sanctioned tournament is based on the total number of players enrolled in the event. If specific operations documents have been provided for an event, any round information set forth within that operations document will take precedence.
Tournament Organizers may run events with no Top Cut, provided that information is advertised before the start of the event. The number of rounds and cut (if any) must be advertised before the start of the event, and cannot be changed afterwards. If a tournament operations document specifies that a Top Cut must be performed, TOs may not deviate from that document.
*Number of Swiss Rounds are based on how many total participants are enrolled in the tournament once Registration closes. All players added to the event after registration closes should not affect the number of Swiss Rounds. Playoff Top Cut is based on the total number of enrolled participants, which includes any late Registrations.

After defeating the first three opponents, the player proceeds to fight Casey Jones and then Hothead (a character based on the Dragon Warrior from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures comics and the action figure of the same name) before the final match with the Shredder. In addition to the Story mode, the game also has two Versus modes (one against the CPU and another against a second player), as well as a four-player tournament mode. An option mode where the player can adjust the game's difficulty, continues, and speed is also available.
A tournament has been organized and many fighters have entered, Shredder being one of them. The Turtles decide to participate in order to stop their nemesis as well as proving their strength in the tournament.
