Just a reminder that the TREC RF deadline is fast approaching.
The deadline is officially midnight, tomorrow (Monday) night (though
in practice you can submit things until Ian arrives at NIST on
Tuesday morning - but that's a fuzzy yet hard deadline)
From an earlier message: This year's main task is single document RF
on 5 different single documents per topic (plus a base case run).
There
is an optional task to perform RF on an additional set of 5 documents
(to
explore RF on spam documents), and an optional task to predict
the relative performance of the original 5 documents.
The naming of the optional relative performance task was not specified
in the Guidelines - the submission system enforces a name of
<basename>.ranking. The submission should be in TREC results
format, with 5 docs per topic (the docs used in 10-1 through 10-5).
