FirstI'd suggest you make sure you have the right import/export settings to and from Daz Studio to correctly create morph in Daz for the base figure. Otherwise you may do a lot of work and then find you can't import it into Daz. Just try and create a morph that gives a character a big nose or something to check it is all working. There must be tutorials out there for creating morphs in Daz.
As for facebuilder to Daz. I've done what you are trying to do with some manual effort, the shrink-wrap modifier and a little trial and error. In blender size the head from facebuilder to be the same size as the Daz head, and place the facebuilder head over the Daz figure's head. Use blender tools to scale the Daz head to better match. Try and match up the position of the main parts of the face, eyes, nose ears and mouth, trying not to distort the eyeballs or teeth inside the head but moving them If you move the mouth or eyes.
In the Daz figure create a vertex group of the Daz face but without the ears, lips and remove any faces that go inside the nostril from this group (they shink wrap to the wrong places), and some that are around the eyes. Apply a shrinkwrap modifier to the daz figure, targeting the facebuiler head and selecting your new vertex group. You might find you need to do a little more manual work after to get a good result, moving the facebuilder head or scaling it to line up the eyes and mouth and ears correctly. I found the area under the nose to be problematic. Then I'd use smooth tool in sculpting mode to clean up any lumps and bumps in the neck or around the ears.
thank for you answer. But I still have no idea to do this. I am a novice,it's too hard for me . I don't known something you tell like shrink-wrap modifier and a little trial. Where can I learn those skills you mentioned. If you can, can you record a video for me? I'll pay.
I'm no expert either. This video has an explantion of the shirk wrap modifer You will see that it takes one object and tries to make it the same shape as the other object. The steps I described were to take the genesis figure and shrik wrap it the facebuilder head, but being careful to just do the face part, not the whole man.
I am just wanting to test out what my model might look like, and when I upload either an fbx file or obj file, with the packaged textures, the model turns out dark with the seperate facebuilder texture not showing at all. These are both working fine together in blender.
Mixamo is not reading the textures correct... looking at your two screengrabs I'd assume you layered the textures instead of baking them on so that would be the error i.e, 1 texture per vertex = correct
How do you go about baking a JPEG? The head and the body are two seperate objects. When I try baking just the body, the JPEG just turns blue! I am following this tutorial: _continue=193&v=2ClzsuExtCo&feature=emb_logo
issue 1 is up to you and not what your question is about, however you can just colour the white parts of the texture in whatever image software you like to use... I included the Photoshop file in case you want it
issue 2 is because your face is Png on a white [actually gray] background & your body is Jpg on a green background so mixamo doesn't know what colour to use and defaults to the face... if you change the body background to match what colour your face has then that gives a simple fix... I also changed the face texture to be Jpg so it matches the body but that is optional
I'm using blender 2.79, I can't use 2.8 due to go problem. I wanna make face model from image by using facebuilder by keen tools but it can't be used in 2.79.. can be anybody help me alternative way to model human face by picture? or how to solve gl problem n then install 2.8 blender? please guys.. ..
There aren't others. It's in open beta currently. It is a joy to use though. Just have the addon read the image exif data to get the correct camera settings per image. Web sourced images may not have metadata still attached.
I have a Windows 10 64-bit computer that isn't compatible with GL 3.3 also, but I am able to run Blender 3.80 and 3.83. The menus have transparency issues and certain things will crash Blender (and sometimes my videocard), like importing an FBX. I was able to use FaceBuilder with version 2.83.
Hi pal...same problen was on me...and find solution...find =mesa/index.frag...opengl.file into your blender folder..and see the miracle works...also my pc does not support beacuse of the graphic card but now..i use all blender series...besides you can meet some slow work time because all payload will be on that little open gl file.
