What would you like to see happen

Again I appreciate your joining this group.  I have tried several of these groups in the past.  A couple of been very successful.  Some have not been.  What kind of subjects would you like to see addressed here.  For me one of the things that led to this group was the shootings in Newtown.  The result uproar about mental health has left me very much aware than we may be looking at a time where more coercively based treatment becomes more politically correct.  In addition to being a mental health consumer I have worked in the mental health field for about 35 years and have seen so many instances of people being harmed by the very people who are supposed to be helping.  This has been particularly true of involuntary situations.  I think it makes a difference the way we look at things and the way we talk about things and I am very interested in the conversation about mental health, about the way reality is defined.  If you have read much in Hopeworks Community you basically know where I stand on most issues.  I would lik to hear more from you.  Thanks in advance.

  Ibelieve we live we live in a world. I believe that you cannot turn in any direction when you are in public and see someone whom society has not ladeled.I would strongly like to see this matter  addressed here.These people are  misjudged and their inyelligence underestimated.Let's talk about how these misperceptions and discrimination deny the labeled person the right to fair treatment.

The bad thing about services, they are run and executed by humans. DHS, DCS, Social Security, and even the Labor Department are Directed by humans and humans run everything all the way to the bottom. Humans belief systems are based on their perception. Perception is clouded by mental attitudes and effects of childhood. So when Humans state opinions and stand for what they believe, they are telling the way they "see" things through all of these things
