Dear friends,
 
Happy New Year!  Today's recipe (which I posted just before the clock struck midnight) is for Pistachio Cranberry Biscotti.  Please check it out at http://treataweek.blogspot.com.

An excerpt from this post:
 
"Biscotti are twice-baked cookies that originated in the Italian town of Prato...  The name derives from the Medieval Latin word biscoctus, meaning twice-baked.  Through French, the word found its way to English as biscuit which now refers to a variety of baked goods including sweet cookies, savory crackers, and small soft breads."
