Social Justice Week

MONDAY DECEMBER 5TH

• 12.30 pm. LIGHTING OF CHRISTMAS TREE and launch of Social Justice Week.
• Carol Singing
• SVP Toy/food and clothing appeal begins for the week

 

TUESDAY DECEMBER 6TH

• 11 am Fair trade coffee morning in Mezzanine- proceeds to Peter McVerry Trust.
• Fr. Peter McVerry SJ., TALK @1 PM IN ROOM 001 – Homeless people.
• Clubs and Societies charity raising
• Afternoon Film on Human Rights in SU building

  

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 7TH

• Lunch time activity – Charity raising – for Peter McVerry Trust
• Sleep out students in solidarity with people who are homeless-PLEASE SUPPORT THEM
• Afternoon -film in SU Building
• Thursday December 8th – (Focus Human Rights)
• 12.30 pm Hip hop dance
• Solidarity with those kept in Silence–remembering those who can’t speak.
• Lunch time lecture ROOM 001 AT 1 PM – Noeleen Hartigan,
• Programme Director of Amnesty international Ireland
