Press Release

Title: Tallaght Community Council announce the winners of the first Tallaght Person of the Year children's art competition

In November 2010, Tallaght Community Council (TCC) ran a new children's art competition as part of the Tallaght Person of the Year.

The art competition was open to all schools in Tallaght. It was launched to involve our younger Tallaght people in the community run awards scheme, while celebrating and rewarding the creativity among our younger generation. The colourful and creative art submitted was exhibited on the night of the awards in The Plaza hotel and created a fantastic backdrop to the event.

TCC sincerely thank the 6 schools who submitted fantastic art work from all age groups and look forward to seeing this number grow this year.
