It's that time again - Tallaght Person of the Year, 2011.

It's nearly time for our current Tallaght Person of the Year, Jimmy Wynne from Balrothery, to pass the tourch onto the 2011 winner.

 

A huge thanks to Jimmy who has been passionate and committed in representing Tallaght Community Council through the year at the various events. This year's winners will be announced at the awards dinner in The Plaza Hotel, 25th November 2011.

The guest speaker this year is our own John Murray, RTE broadcaster, originally from Bancroft.

The live entertainment is provided by the fabulous live band Inertia 66.

All schools have been invited to celebrate the creativity among our younger residents by entering our art competition.

A selection of the art will be exhibited in The Plaza on 25th November and the prize giving will be held inThe Abberley Court on January 12th.

Tickets are on sale for the awards dinner - €40 each or €350 for tables of 10.

All residents groups, community groups and public representatives are urged to support this community initiative & support the awards.
