TRB Webinar: Visualizing the Effects of COVID-19 on Transportation: A One-Year Retrospective
The worldwide coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has profoundly affected the health and economies of the United States and the world. TRB will host a webinar on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 2:00-3:30 PM Eastern that will delve into the pandemic’s effect on transportation. Presenters will discuss visualizations of where these impacts have been especially notable, including the drastic reduction in road and air traffic and in public transit ridership during early days of the pandemic. They will provide perspectives from the local, state, and international levels.

COVID-19 Points of Entry in Nigeria [Dashboard]
During the COVID-19 pandemic, IOM's Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), monitors the movements
to and from Nigeria's Adamawa and Borno States, located in the North East Zone. Assessments are conducted at Points of Entry located along the border with Cameroon.

America Celebrates the Announcement of New All-American Roads and National Scenic Byways
Federal Highway Administration announced 34 new National Scenic Byways and 15 All-American Roads, the first additions to the program since 2009. The new designees– ranging from Maine's Katahdin Woods and Waters Scenic Byway to California's Historic Route 66 Needles to Barstow Scenic Byway– traverse 28 states, bringing the total of America's Byways to 184 in 48 states.
