To all TRB Transportation and Sustainability Committee (ADD40) Members and friends:

TRB papers on August 1st for the 2019 TRB Annual Conference and ADD40 needs your help! Every year we get more and more papers to review and we need everyone’s help give the authors the best feedback about their work and for ADD40 to choose the best papers to highlight at the annual conference.

We are reaching out to all ADD40 Members (NEW MEMBERS), Friends and Previous Reviewers to invite you to update your profile with us to be a potential reviewers of one or more papers received by TRB on August 1^st and that are assigned to the Transportation and Sustainability Committee (ADD40).

To update your profile or create a new profile, please click here to respond to a brief questionnaire that helps us match papers submitted for presentation to your expertise and experience. Your contact information is very important so we can upload you into the TRB system.

If you have received this email last year and filled it out, you do not need to fill out the survey. If you don’t remember, go ahead and fill out the survey.

It is extremely important for everyone to update your profile in MyTRB and make sure it has your correct email address! https://www.mytrb.org/

Please note that being a reviewer of papers is a great way to get more involved with the Committee. It should also be noted that there is no guarantee that you will be selected as a reviewer this time around, as it depends on the number of papers received, the subject of the papers received in relation to your areas of expertise, etc. However, by having an updated survey on file increases your opportunity to actually be a reviewer, so please get on the list before August 1^st. It is certainly the Committee’s intention to broaden the potential pool of reviewers. Thank you in advance for your assistance, and I look forward to your involvement in this very important contribution to research in the field of sustainability and transportation.

The key milestones for the TRB paper review process:

August 1 -- paper submission deadline
August 8 --TRB will assign papers to Committees and notify Chairs and paper review managers
August 8-15 -- Paper review managers assign papers for review
September 15 -- Paper reviews are due
October 1 -- Deadline for having ALL workshops, poster sessions, podium sessions, and presentations scheduled during a Committee meeting input into TRB's system
