At the 2015 TRB Annual Meeting the Committee on the Transportation of Hazardous Materials (AT040) agreed to create the Charlie H. Hochman Outstanding/Lifetime Achievement Award and an Outstanding Paper, Research, or Contribution Award in order to recognize outstanding achievement in the advancement of hazardous materials research, innovation, regulation or management.
Awards nominations will be accepted until October 31st for consideration and presentation at the 2019 TRB Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.
