Major Cities Members and Friends,

TRB asked us to please share this information with you regarding their Ambassador Program. Please help out if you are able!

--------------------

TRB is arranging its Ambassador Program at the Washington Hilton Hotel for the 2014 annual meeting. The Ambassadors assist first-time attendees (and/or others) who feel overwhelmed and uncertain how to most effectively participate in the meeting.

We are seeking volunteers to serve as Ambassadors. Two volunteers will staff the Ambassador table for two hours and wear an “Ask Me! I’m a TRB Ambassador” button. We ask that during the remainder of the meeting you continue to wear the button to identify yourself as an additional resource for first-time attendees or others seeking information about TRB or the meeting.

TRB staff will provide each Ambassador with a button and a limited amount of background material. This information will be at the Ambassador table in order to assist you to respond to questions. The table will be located on the Terrace Level in the Hilton Hotel. Please try to identify two hours of your time that you could volunteer – this program has become an important part of the Annual Meeting and we need your help to assure it is success again this year! Those who have served as Ambassadors in the past have found this a fun and rewarding way to participate in the Annual Meeting and to help the new attendees.

If you are able to help, please complete the survey link at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/N2LX5ZS  to select times you are available to staff the table. Please respond to the survey by DECEMBER 31st. The schedule of volunteers will be sent the week of January 6th.
