NCHRP Nominations - due Friday

Members and friends of the TRB Major Cities Committee,

The National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) is seeking panel members for its 2019 projects. Please consider nominating yourself or others for these panels. Nominations are due THIS FRIDAY. (Sorry for the slightly late notice)

For those not familiar with NCHRP, it is a program funded by the state DOTs and administered by TRB. The program is one of the primary ways we can advance our committee's research agenda on a national scale. Panel members play a vital role in shaping and guiding the research. Participating on panels is a great way to meet other industry professionals interested in these topics (networking!) and to get a first look at research in progress. NCHRP is very interested in supporting diversity on the panels - backgrounds, demographics (minorities, women, and young professionals should apply!), current roles, geographic areas, etc. If you are a member of ABE30 or another committee, please note it on your nomination; NCHRP wants to see that you are connected to the national community of practice and can help move research into implementation.
