TRB Freight Transportation Economics and Regulation (AT010) Members and Friends:
We had a very productive midyear meeting last month in DC - a huge thanks to those who attended (either in person or via phone). We moved the ball forward on the Strategic Plan (thanks Mario) and discussed future areas of research. Also a special thanks to Reese Brewer for taking notes on the meeting. We also enjoyed a joint session with Urban Freight Transportation Committee (UFTC).
Please consider the opportunities listed below.
1. AT010
desperately needs volunteers for two committee positions: (1) Research Coordinator and (2) Communications Coordinator. You do not have to be a current committee member to serve (and when rotations become available April, 2015 you would certainly be at the top of the list for membership!). Email me at
arlingt...@gmail.com to express your interest in these openings.
2. The urban freight committee has drafted an outline for an action plan to speed adoption of innovation (attached). They are looking for comments from AT010 on their draft. Please let me know if you would like to join in providing comments from AT010 (email me at
arlingt...@gmail.com)
